Kimberly A. Mann, Ph.D., L.C.S.W

Kimberly A. Mann, Ph.D., L.C.S.W., is an independent consultant who retired as the DCFS Deputy Director for Research and Child Well-Being in 2022. Within that role, she promoted the well-being of youth.

A former Associate Professor of Social Work, she joined DCFS in 2008 where she guided the implementation of trauma-informed practices, the Early Childhood Court Team, prevention services for the Family First Prevention Services, and served as Project Director for the Illinois Birth- Three Title IV-E Waiver.
